Lesson

How does technology change?  One way is exponentially. Technology used to create computers 60 years ago could not make the computers we use today. What has happened over those 60 years is that we have used one technology to make a better technology, which we have used to make a still better technology. But this is nothing new. Using tools to make better tools explains a lot of technological change since people started making tools millions of years ago.  Our book offers other reasons technology changes.
